Measuring Principle of Instrument

It adopts the radius measurement method with rotating workpiece. A high-precision air-bearing spindle serves as the reference. The system consists of a precision circular grating, precision inductive displacement sensor and computer. It measures the angle and radial displacement of the workpiece under test to ensure accuracy of angular displacement and radial values. The measurement software is DTP system software running on Chinese version Windows OS, which completes data acquisition, data processing, printout and other tasks.

Measurement Functions

Measurement functions: Roundness, coaxiality, concentricity, runout, perpendicularity, parallelism, flatness. Analysis functions: Surface waviness, spectrum analysis, wave height analysis, adjacent segment runout, segment offset.

Four roundness evaluation methods: Minimum Zone Method, Least Squares Method, Minimum Circumscribed Circle Method, Maximum Inscribed Circle Method.

Roundness filter bands: 1–500, 1–150, 1–50, 1–15. Waviness filter bands: 3–16, 3–17, 15–500, 17–100. Filter type: Gaussian (ISO standard).
